We begin each day in the roasting house, enveloped by the intoxicating
aroma of freshly roasted coffees from around the world. Each variety
has unique characteristics; it's our job to extract them and achieve
perfection through personal monitoring of each batch during the
roasting process.
Does this seem a bit eccentric? We like to call it passionate.
A passion to ensure each customer receives the very best cup of
coffee possible. To ensure quality from the start, our green beans
are purchased from a reputable importer and shipped direct from
the origin country to the U.S. ports of New York, San Francisco
and New Orleans. Upon arrival at Santa Fe's roasting house, each
delivery is sorted by variety and country in preparation for roasting.
When
we receive your order, the roasting process begins. Orders are individually
roasted every day as to ensure the freshest quality possible. Once
roasted, your order is packaged in a foil bag with a unique "one-way"
valve and shipped within twenty-four hours.
Smell the beans upon opening the bag, taking in the essence
of the coffee in it's freshly roasted state.
Suggested preparation is to grind the appropriate amount of beans
each time you prepare a cup or a pot of coffee. For retention of
maximum taste, reseal the remaining coffee in the foil bag for future
use.
